What a great month!
Well y’all, May was an incredibly exciting and bustling month for me and the team at Charlie Horse Photos! We had the honor of capturing so many diverse events and sessions – from vibrant house parties and chic showroom soirees to polished professional headshots, we were definitely on the move! We even got to celebrate alongside friends at a couple of beautiful weddings. This whirlwind of activity really highlighted one crucial thing: every significant moment, big or small, deserves to be captured with a professional touch to truly preserve its magic and impact.
May kicked off with a fantastic double-header! Our associate photographer captured all the stylish fun at a showroom’s Derby Party, while our Principal Photographer documented a glamorous house party. Both events were stunning, showcasing that gorgeous springtime vibrancy before our Houston summer truly arrives! More than just snapshots, we focused on capturing the ambiance, the genuine interactions, and the thoughtful details – from guests to decor – creating beautiful, lasting keepsakes. Because when you've poured effort into an event, or are celebrating a special time, those professionally captured moments ensure the energy and elegance live on long after the day is done.
The excitement continued as we photographed the cover for Spring Branch + Magazine at the stunning Elite Physique Body Sculpting space – there's nothing like seeing your work poised to make a public statement! A professional magazine cover isn't just a photo; it’s about crafting an image that embodies prestige and grabs attention. That very same day, we were off to Neiman Marcus to capture a sophisticated cocktail party celebrating the phenomenal AAPI month partnership with Kimono Zulu. For high-profile events like these, professional photography ensures the brand's polish, the community engagement, and the unique collaborations are all documented with an expert eye, perfectly preserving the occasion's significance.
And believe it or not, that was just the start of this action-packed month! Next up was a comprehensive 3-day assignment for a training institute, covering everything from professional headshots for their team to the dynamic training sessions themselves. This was fantastic groundwork for a similar project: capturing the orientation for an exciting new restaurant opening in River Oaks! For both organizations, our goal was to do more than just document; we aimed to capture the engaging presentations and the enthusiastic crowd reactions in a way that directly supports their future recruiting and growth efforts. High-quality imagery becomes a powerful tool in telling their story and attracting talent.
May beautifully culminated with heartfelt celebrations – weddings and high honors for cherished friends! Our team was privileged to document the prestigious awarding of the French National Order of Merit to the French American Chamber of Commerce Director. We focused on capturing the dignity and significance of this incredible achievement, creating images worthy of being framed as a lasting tribute. And with immense joy, we also photographed a dear friend's intimate wedding, ensuring every precious moment was captured beautifully so they could share that love and happiness with family and friends spread far and wide.
